PURPORT
According to Bhagavad-gita, a sadhu (holy man) is a man in Krsna consciousness. A person may appear to be irreligious, but if he has the qualifications of Krsna consciousness wholly and fully, he is to be understood to be a sadhu. And duskrtam applies to one who doesn’t care for Krsna consciousness. Such miscreants, or duskrtam, are described as foolish and the lowest of mankind, even though they may be decorated with mundane education; whereas another person, who is one hundred percent engaged in Krsna consciousness, is accepted as sadhu, even though such a person may neither be learned nor well cultured. As far as the atheistic are concerned, it is not necessary for the Supreme Lord to appear as He is to destroy them, as He did with the demons Ravana and Kamsa. The Lord has many agents who are quite competent to vanquish demons. But the Lord especially descends to appease His unalloyed devotees, who are always harassed by the demoniac. The demon harasses the devotee, even though the latter may happen to be his kin. Although Prahlada Maharaja was the son of Hiranyakasipu, he was nonetheless persecuted by his father; although Devaki, the mother of Krsna, was the sister of Kamsa, she and her husband Vasudeva were persecuted only because Krsna was to be born of them. So Lord Krsna appeared primarily to deliver Devaki, rather than kill Kamsa, but both were performed simultaneously. Therefore it is said here that to deliver the devotee and vanquish the demon miscreants, the Lord appears in different incarnations.
In the Caitanya-caritamrta of Krsnadasa Kaviraja, the following verses summarize these principles of incarnation:
srsti-hetu yei murti prapance avatare
sei isvara-murti ‘avatara’ nama dhare
mayatita paravyome sabara avasthana
visve avatari’ dhare ‘avatara’ nama
“The avatara, or incarnation of Godhead, descends from the kingdom of God for material manifestation. And the particular form of the Personality of Godhead who so descends is called an incarnation, or avatara. Such incarnations are situated in the spiritual world, the kingdom of God. When they descend to the material creation, they assume the name avatara.“
There are various kinds of avataras, such as purusavataras, gunavataras, lilavataras, sakty-avesa avataras, manvantara-avataras and yugavataras–all appearing on schedule all over the universe. But Lord Krsna is the primeval Lord, the fountainhead of all avataras. Lord Sri Krsna descends for the specific purposes of mitigating the anxieties of the pure devotees, who are very anxious to see Him in His original Vrndavana pastimes. Therefore, the prime purpose of the Krsna avatara is to satisfy His unalloyed devotees.
The Lord says that He incarnates Himself in every millennium. This indicates that He incarnates also in the age of Kali. As stated in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, the incarnation in the age of Kali is Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who spread the worship of Krsna by the sankirtana movement (congregational chanting of the holy names), and spread Krsna consciousness throughout India. He predicted that this culture of sankirtana would be broadcast all over the world, from town to town and village to village. Lord Caitanya as the incarnation of Krsna, the Personality of Godhead, is described secretly but not directly in the confidential parts of the revealed scriptures, such as the Upanisads, Mahabharata, Bhagavatam, etc. The devotees of Lord Krsna are much attracted by the sankirtana movement of Lord Caitanya. This avatara of the Lord does not kill the miscreants, but delivers them by the causeless mercy of the Lord.

PURPORT
The word srjami is significant herein. Srjami cannot be used in the sense of creation, because, according to the previous verse, there is no creation of the Lord’s form or body, since all of the forms are eternally existent. Therefore, srjami means that the Lord manifests Himself as He is.
Although the Lord appears on schedule, namely at the end of the Dvapara-yuga of the twenty-eighth millennium of the eighth Manu in one day of Brahma, still He has no obligation to adhere to such rules and regulations because He is completely free to act in many ways at His will. He therefore appears by His own will whenever there is a predominance of irreligiosity and a disappearance of true religion. Principles of religion are laid down in the Vedas, and any discrepancy in the matter of properly executing the rules of the Vedas makes one irreligious. In the Bhagavatam it is stated that such principles are the laws of the Lord. Only the Lord can manufacture a system of religion. The Vedas are also accepted as originally spoken by the Lord Himself to Brahma, from within his heart. Therefore, the principles of dharma, or religion, are the direct orders of the Supreme Personality of Godhead (dharmam tu saksad bhagavat-pranitam). These principles are clearly indicated throughout the Bhagavad-gita.
The purpose of the Vedas is to establish such principles under the order of the Supreme Lord, and the Lord directly orders, at the end of the Gita, that the highest principle of religion is to surrender unto Him only, and nothing more. The Vedic principles push one towards complete surrender unto Him; and, whenever such principles are disturbed by the demoniac, the Lord appears. From the Bhagavatam we understand that Lord Buddha is the incarnation of Krsna who appeared when materialism was rampant and materialists were using the pretext of the authority of the Vedas. Although there are certain restrictive rules and regulations regarding animal sacrifice for particular purposes in the Vedas, people of demonic tendency still took to animal sacrifice without reference to the Vedic principles. Lord Buddha appeared to stop this nonsense and to establish the Vedic principles of nonviolence. Therefore each and every avatara, or incarnation of the Lord, has a particular mission, and they are all described in the revealed scriptures. No one should be accepted as an avatara unless he is referred to by scriptures. It is not a fact that the Lord appears only on Indian soil. He can advent Himself anywhere and everywhere, and whenever He desires to appear. In each and every incarnation, He speaks as much about religion as can be understood by the particular people under their particular circumstances. But the mission is the same–to lead people to God consciousness and obedience to the principles of religion. Sometimes He descends personally, and sometimes He sends His bona fide representative in the form of His son, or servant, or Himself in some disguised form.
The principles of the Bhagavad-Gita were spoken to Arjuna, and, for that matter, to other highly elevated persons, because he was highly advanced compared to ordinary persons in other parts of the world. Two plus two equals four is a mathematical principle that is true both in the beginner’s arithmetic class and in the advanced class as well. Still, there are higher and lower mathematics. In all incarnations of the Lord, therefore, the same principles are taught, but they appear to be higher and lower in varied circumstances. The higher principles of religion begin with the acceptance of the four orders and the four statuses of social life, as will be explained later. The whole purpose of the mission of incarnations is to arouse Krishna consciousness everywhere. Such consciousness is manifest and no manifest only under different circumstances.
The Famous Story Behind the Phrase…
One of my friends mailed me this story n after reading this story I was amazed and really proved one famous saying “NEVER JUDGE THE BOOK FROM IT’S COVER PAGE!!” and in fact it’s a true story…
A lady in a gingham dress and her husband, dressed in a homespun threadbare suit, stepped off the train in Boston. They walked timidly without an appointment into the president of Harvard University’s outer office.
The secretary determined in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn’t even deserve to be in Cambridge. She frowned.
“We want to see the president,” the man said softly. “He’ll be busy all day,” the secretary snapped. “We’ll wait,” the lady replied.
For hours, the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away. They didn’t. The secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president, even though it was a chore she always regretted to do.
“Maybe if they just see you for a few minutes, they’ll leave,” she told him.
The President sighed in exasperation and nodded. Someone of his importance obviously didn’t have the time to spend with them, but he detested the thought of gingham dresses and homespun suits cluttering up his outer office.
The president, stern-faced with dignity, strutted toward the couple. The lady told him, “We had a son that attended Harvard for one year. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus.”
The president was not touched by her story, he was shocked. “Madam,” he said gruffly. “We can’t put up a statue for every student from Harvard who died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery.”
“Oh, no,” the lady explained quickly. “We don’t want to erect a statute. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard.”
The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, then exclaimed. “A building? Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical plant at Harvard.” He could get rid of them now.
And the lady turned to her husband and said quietly, “Is that all it costs to start a University? Why don’t we just start our own?” Her husband nodded. The president’s face wilted in confusion and bewilderment.
Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford walked away, travelled to Palo Alto, California where they established the University that bears their name, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.
“You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them.”
Don’t Judge Too Soon
When you know the truth!!!
Train started running. Train was fully crowed as usual with young guys and gals, married couple, working uncle’s n aunties. All were irritated with the rush. Near the window one old man was sitting with his 30-year old son.
As the train Started moving, son was so fantasized with the scenery outside and said “Dad it so beautiful outside, all green trees and birds…!”
People sitting close to them stared laughing and were murmuring something
“What’s new in that?”
“Why this fellow is saying like this?”
Even some comment were passed “Pagal hai kya!!”, “This guys is gone crack!!”
Suddenly it started raining and climate was looking so pleasing and rain was even falling on the passengers, son was overwhelmed and asked “Dad, rain is so awesome, it’s making environment beautiful…!!” He was totally filled with joy.
Couple sitting next to them were so irritated because rain drops were dropping on their newly bought suitcase. Wife said “Is this man gone mad?”, “See old man your son is gone crack better put him in the mental asylum soon and please don’t disturb the normal public!!!”
Old man gave a sincere look to that lady and softly replied “My son has been discharged from the hospital this morning. He was born blind. Last week he got his vision. So he is seeing these all things for the first time and is enjoying it. Rain and nature is new to him. Please forgive us if we have disturbed you people.”
The things we see may be right, from our perspective, until we know the truth. But when we know the truth, our reaction to that will hurt even us. So try to understand the problem better before taking a harsh action.

School Reunion (Memories expressed in Words)
1st November 2008
@ Wild Dining
1st Nov ’08 a day to remember…a day to cherish…a day to treasure for the rest of ma life till d day I take my last breadth…coz on this the day I met the people who were lost somewhere in the huge city ….thy were my school friends…It was a reunion…”The REUNION”….
It was Blast. This reunion was after 7-8 year. Woohh!!! I guess every one enjoyed it.
I would like to express in to words, how I felt about our reunion.
Initially when d reunion was planned I was kinda excited…but as the “D Day” was nearing…I dunno y but I was getting tensed. Seeing those faces which I had left behind from d past 7 yrs…. Loads of thought were going in my mind…. Like, how will everyone interacted with me, will I gel along with them, or I’ll be sitting quietly in the corner and many many more…Because of all these thought I wanted to back out.
And finally “The Day”. We all assembles in our school….My first step in school that day…actually made me realize…..man! I miss those days….there was a little child in me who wanted to scream, jump, shout, run around d corridor jus like the gud ‘ol days…J
Many of my frnds were late…u c still following IST…and few were before time….started following GMT…Lol…Narendra and Deepika started their photo session. From every corner they took pics. We also went to our auditorium (Mass PT room was turned into Wedding reception lol), we also saw our computer lab.….was great fun.
Then all the late comers joined in and we all reached our destination…WILD DINNING….
There was a cave where we all settled. And once again we started our photo session. We decided to play some games. Deepika has bought book and pen ..and can u guess for wat…for playing games..imagine who can think abt doing that…but Deepika did it babeh…. so everyone started teasing her…but man it was awesome…n Deepika if ur reading this…thn thnx babes.
It was such a great experience seeing their luvly faces after 7 long yrs…Firstly, everyone said what they did in these 7-years and (Deepa’s favorite question) any Boyfriend/galfriend and personal life. I don’t think so any one answered this question honestly, except Swapnil and Pritesh who answered honestly. Then we played fish-pond. And later there was “direct attack”-means anyone ask any damn question to any1(that was scary…kahi utpatang questions nai puche
). That was fun. Hey i forget important thing to mention we were teasing Narendra and Deepika(they took it +vely).Even manoj did revel Priyank’s secret.Everyone was having great time. In food we started with starter and dinner. Later every one was busy gulping food…lol.
Room was fully energized. Every one was gelled so well, we dint realize that we were meeting after 7-years. Every one was talking so freely. No one was given special importance, every one was treated same, no one was left alone.
For me surprise package were many, actually go to see, almost all. Start with Monali, Swapnil(2 Timing, after listenin to it,a shockwave ran thru me as if someone had poured a shot of tequila straight up!! Lol…), Manoj(never use to talk to him in school), Abhishake(started taking so much), Rahul(avtar totally change he very well know wat I call him..wat say Rahul???), Narendra.
Everything was unexpected. We really had a blast.
It is said “Every good things come to end”, so the reunion also came to end- it was quite brief – and we all will go back to our routines. L
Priyank and Krishna has done most appreciable job by coordinating n arranging stuff….and how can I forget Rahul who use to call end of the day and ask “Aur bolo … wats update??” , “Any new update??” lol.. Deepika also use to call all gals…She really tried her best to convince Faiza. Good work Deepika!!
But they really worked hard to arrange this.
All in all a good experience. I’m glad I went.
“Guys why don’t you also leave comment and views and let everyone know how much we enjoyed.Put anything whatever you want to write about our reunion or wanna ask any question to anyone”
